As the planet is in the process of cutting down on plastic bag usage, the message today is short; We should consider a ban on plastic shoes, which are now very popular throughout warmer regions of the planet, and worn in places such as West Africa; the majority of plastic shoes damage the feet and are made of plastic that can not be recycled.
(Some examples of alternatives to plastic shoes include things such as canvas and rubber).
