…A roll of the dice as to where Humanity falls in regard to Climate Change issues means that no one can ignore by taking it for granted that all of nature across the earth is simply going to keep regenerating itself at rates that it should, if we as a planet do nothing in helping to replenish it.
(In many instances; migration would not be such an issue if many areas around the world were less exploited and replenished).
Indeed Earth’s diversity as well at its bio-diversity is to be celebrated and cherished.
In a world where many of the lines have been blurred; the key and the bottom line is that if one does not represent Diversity on all levels then one does not represent Humanity.
With many regions (which also included neighbouring areas*) of Brazil experiencing extensive flooding from the intensity of the El Nino Effect in the storms that brought heavy rains; the Climatic Pendulum shift which followed on from months of high heatwave temperatures and severe drought across several regions-brought with it additional problems in terms of health and safety; along with the ongoing challenge of food security and access to safe and clean drinking water, -as the increase of new infrastructural problems; along with other infrastructural problems such as old pipe work became over stretched to full capacity across several areas.
From heatwaves and droughts, to hurricanes and floods..the Climatic Pendulum Effect occurring across many areas al over the world goes on in a roller coaster; for instance, warm temperatures have continued to create harsh dry conditions, which in turn has sharply increased the severity of environmental damage from ongoing Wildfires across several regions of the Amazon Basin.
Ongoing deforestation causes increasingly hazardous conditions,-which threaten the world’s biodiversity, (including the worlds green lungs and bio-diversity of the Amazonian Eco-System)- and which gives rise to warmer winds being able to move more dangerously across one area and into neighbouring as well as Internationally Protected Green and Green Belt Areas; which in many instances raises the question for many of those who are faced with the fallout of Climatic and environmentally impacted challenges all over the world as well as other inter-connecting dynamics amidst growing daily pressures-as the natural environment becomes evermore adversely/negatively impacted…where are the natural flood barriers and the protective greenbelts containing less flammable tree species coverage in order to help to assist the natural environment with its important role in lessening the impact of Climate Change intensity towards the natural preservation of safe place called home that is and should be home to everybody all over the world….
Greece…
Warm winds along with heated temperatures caused fires to spread across from just North Athens in Greece to the South, burning through several areas and even reaching a forest west of Athens.
With many parts of Europe along with the U.K set to see more occurrences of flooding due to the increase of Global Warming Temperatures, countries such as Italy have continued to experience extreme flooding; which due to Climate Change is becoming more of a regular occurrence,- to the point whereby local residents, along with businesses, do not feel confident about staying in the area due to the constant rebuilding along with in many cases having to start from scratch again only to have to contend with the same issues whilst increasingly having less of a period of time in which to fully recover from the severity of Climatic conditions; and this is the kind of predicament that many people all over the world are increasingly finding themselves in -just as many people including Indigenous Communities are finding themselves in that is the knock on worldwide effect of Climate Change,-due to worsening climate conditions from (A). Naturally occurring Climatic Change along with (B) excessive industrial i.e anthropogenically (i.e man made) attributed Climate Change that is producing a knock on effect in regard to the worsening of climatic conditions.
A decline of natural forested areas across Africa which has also been experiencing the climatic pendulum Effect, -(in shifting from severe drought, to storms and heavy rainfall, could be lessened, in regard to the environmental, agricultural and infrastructural damage caused from Climate Change, if more is done in the way of increasing the natural green buffers of drought tolerant tree species so as to improve forest coverage which greatly helps in naturally assisting excessive flooding levels.
Throughout August of this year; the seasonal rains across areas of Egypt from thunder storms were particularly intense; causing heavy flooding across the Southern Sinai areas of Egypt along with heavy flooding in the city of Aswan.
The Universal Topic of Climate Change transcends a broad variety of things including various political positions and belief systems across every type of demographic; as there are many instances where all one has to do is to apply some common sense along with one’s own instincts in terms of paying attention to both subtle and major changes that are becoming more of an occurrence within Seasonal shifts; the early bloom of various flowers, the times that certain species of birds go to sleep, the migration periods of certain species of wildlife and marine life along with areas where certain crops fruits and vegetables used to grow but are either struggling to or no longer can in regard to the increase of severity within (A) Naturally Occurring Climatic Change and (B) Anthropogenically attributed (i.e man-made) earth-flux/disruption causing excessive soil erosion and Climatic Change all across the Earth.
In many cases; the Natural Garden that the Earth has to offer in the greenery that is available as a natural home and habitat to many, has shifted and /been under threat in a constant state of decline across many areas of the world; largely due to excessive levels of anthropogenic activity stressors on an industrial scale that cause major disturbances to the natural bio feedback loop/cycle that helps to replenish the earth with various nutrients.
Spain….
The intensity of Forest Fires has increased due to warmer and drier Climate Change conditions across several areas of Spain which include Valenciana, Comunidad, and Alicante over the 7 month period that is known as fire season.
Several areas of Spain including the town of Paiporta in Valencia and Castile-La-Mancha experienced high flood water levels from flash flooding which resulted in the mortalities of over 200 people with over a thousand people still missing. Infrastructure has also been affected across several areas.
Puerto Rico…
The Island of Puerto Rico is still recovering from infrastructural damage and crop loss in the fall out from Storm Ernesto and the levels of widespread flooding that ensued.
The people of Puerto Rico have really been pulling together in the aftermath of the damage that has ensued from Hurricane and flooding damage, with even some wildlife such as Puerto Rican Amazon parakeets were evacuated and sheltered ahead of time from the storm before being released once
again.
Florida...
The severity of Storm impact levels from Hurricanes such as Hurricane Beryl, Hurricane Milton and Helene during the Hurricane Season has sharply increased because of being able to literally power off the rise in the sea level temperatures attributed to Climate Change.
The Climate Change issue of storm impacts from Hurricanes also have the knock on effect of increasing the amount of Sink Holes that are becoming more of an occurrence. The city of Chongqing province in China also has a sink hole problem, and there are reports of a lot of biodiversity to be found at the bottom of some of those sink hole locations. However, sink holes on the whole are still generally a serious infrastructural and environmental problem for a growing number of people living on or near them.
Typhoon Gaemi also impacted areas across the Phillippines, Taiwan and China, with China having experienced high temperatures peaking at over 23 degrees Celsius in June of this year (2024) along with drought conditions followed by over three thousand flooding emergencies. Australia is also experiencing harsher and drier Climate Change conditions which result in more widespread fires across Northern regions of Australia during the eucalyptus tree Bush-Fire Season.
Invasive i.e Non Native Species of trees and shrubs are increasingly becoming a problem in Hawaii as far as containing wildfires go whilst places such as Costa Rica as well as many parts of the Caribbean are also experiencing warmer heatwave temperatures, along with severe Hurricane weather and rising sea-levels along coastal areas.
In September of this year, high flooding levels from Monsoon rains impacted parts of India such as the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh State resulting in at least over 25 reported mortalities. The coastal area of Kachchh province has also been affected by severe flooding.
Global Warming Temperatures and rainfall patterns affecting the fresh water melt rate of the Himalayas remains an ongoing environmental problem in regard to the effects of Climate Change. Meanwhile, whilst fires across
Shasta County in California have currently now been almost completely contained, wildfires across various parts of California have burned through over 1 million acres of land this year alone, -(almost at a twenty year high of environmental damage) as widespread damage across green spaces continues to be an issue as well as an ongoing occurrence across many parts of the world especially and in regard to increased levels of Climatic severity.
As we continue to face Climatic Challenges; we as a planet must remember that people in rural areas, including people from Indigenous Communities all over Amazonia, as well as small scale farming communities of various nationalities from all over the world; continue to remind us that a place called home is where you can sustain yourself with a view towards replenishing the Earth…
